Questions we get
How much does a bookkeeper cost?
It depends on transaction volume, how many bank and credit card accounts are involved, and whether there is payroll or inventory. We quote after the free review rather than before, because a price given before anyone has opened your file is a guess. Hourly rates for cleanup and project work are published on Go To My Bookkeeper.
My books are years behind. Is that a problem?
No. It is the most common reason people call. We look at how far back it goes and what condition it is in, then quote a fixed price for the catch-up. Years behind is a scope question, not a judgment.
Do you work with my CPA?
Yes, and much of our work comes referred by CPAs. We handle the monthly bookkeeping and the close. Your CPA handles tax. Clean books make their job faster and your bill smaller.
Do you do taxes?
No. Accounting and bookkeeping only. What we produce is a set of financials your CPA can file from without doing cleanup work first.
Are you local, or can you work with businesses anywhere?
Both. The office is in Rogers, Arkansas, but clients are nationwide. Nearly everything happens over the phone and by screen share.
